In this role you will design, develop and optimize quantitative risk models and simulation-based analytics using Python, PySpark and Snowflake, supporting key risk management and trading decisions in a data-driven environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assignments: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, implement and maintain quantitative risk models in Python<\/li>\n<li>Develop scalable data processing pipelines and analytics solutions using PySpark in a distributed environment<\/li>\n<li>Build and optimize data-driven solutions and risk reporting layers on Snowflake<\/li>\n<li>Implement and enhance Monte Carlo or similar simulation methods for scenario and sensitivity analyses<\/li>\n<li>Ensure model quality through rigorous testing, validation, documentation and performance tuning<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to best practices, coding standards and continuous improvement of the quantitative development framework<\/li>\n<li>Support migration, integration and industrialization of models from prototypes to production-grade systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantitative Developer, Risk Modeler or Developer with quant focus<\/li>\n<li>More than 3 years of experience developing software solutions in Python and Pyspark<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience with Snowflake<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of quantitative methods for risk analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Monte Carlo simulations or similar simulation techniques for risk purposes<\/li>\n<li>Previous exposure to the energy industry is a strong plus<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI\/CD, code reviews)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Languages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Englisch fluent (C1 \/ C2 Level)<\/li>\n<li>German nice to have<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Reference Nr.: <\/strong>924800FC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role: <\/strong>Quantitative Risk Developer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industry: <\/strong>IT<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Location: <\/strong>Bern<\/p>\n<p><strong>Workload: <\/strong>80% &#8211; 100%<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start: <\/strong>01.06.2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: <\/strong>12 months<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>If you are <strong>interested<\/strong> in this position, please send us your complete dossier via the link in this advertisement.
