Accountant General ledger specialist – SAP / Process-oriented thinking / problem solving / Finance / English / German / French

For our customer in Space industry based in Zurich we are looking for a highly qualified Accountant General ledger specialist.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Performing month-end and year-end closing including reporting data into the consolidation tool
– Preparing local statutory statements where needed – Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
– Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards (internal and external)
– Generating financial reports
– Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support – Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents
– Supporting the auditor, controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed work

Must Haves:
– 3+ years of experience in accounting role within a multinational environment.
– Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate and use SAP
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel – Process-oriented thinking
– Independent and conscientious way of working – Strong analytical and effective problem solving skills to identify and correct
– Ability to work on a team and independently
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance – Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
– Very good knowledge of (reading, writing, and speaking) English and German. Other languages are a plus (French)
