Application Manager (m/f/x) – Zürich – 100%

Project/Role: For our client in the financial services sector we are looking for a person that is passionate about managing applications, that wants to work in an agile, self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount. Our agile and multicultural Application Management Team is positioned in the Post Trading area. The Team goal is to maintain financial applications of high quality in the areas of communication, messaging and security for our business units.

Tasks:

• Manage and document Different complex IT-Components such as Crime Compliance-,Security- and Routing- Components are on the portfolio
• Working proactively and independently, delving into details, supporting and helping the team
• Monitoring and managing various installed systems and infrastructure – Establish, configure, test
• Maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Installing testing and maintaining various applications mainly on Linux, Openshift and Microsoft environment
• Timely reporting on the confluence for the rapid response to any glitches, Incident and release Management
• Coordination with BA and Business for requirement gathering, understanding and clarification
• Deployment of changes in test and production system –
• Various IT-Duties and support activities

Requirements:

• University Degree
• 4 to 6 years of experience in an end-users‘ environment providing application support
• Proficiency in IT architecture
• Min 4 years‘ experience with OpenShift
• Network experience TCP/IP, DNS, Mail
• Knowledge and experience with Linux/Microsoft

Languages:

• English: full professional proficiency (C1+)
• German: Good
