Business Rule Engine Application specialist (80-100%)

Project: Our client in the banking industry is looking for an experienced Business Rule Engine Application specialist (m/f/d).

As an integral part of the team you will be responsible for various rule projects on change the bankside and following run the bank activities.

Tasks:

• Business Rule Engine Lifecycle minor upgrade to Actico 9.0 (move to new application setup including source repository, build and deployment setup, redesign of role and access right definition)
• Improvement of CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins/Octopus.
• Enhancement of monitoring capabilities, moving into direction of deployment self-service for projects for test and acceptance environments
• Support of colleagues with rule project developments

Experience required:

• Good knowledge of Actico Rule Engine
• Senior Java developer background
• Familiar with build tool Jenkins and source control GIT (Bitbucket)
• Familiar with Kubernetes and Linux server stack
• Very good understanding of software development/ customization processes
• Experience in application management
• Experience in 2nd/3rd level support
• Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors
• Knowledge of financial sector and specific business knowledge is a plus (e.g. advisory, portfolio management, trading)
