For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Associate Scientist(f/m/d).

Background:
As an Associate Scientist in the section Particle & Formulation Characterization within the Solid State Sciences Department for Technical Development of Synthetic Molecules you support our colleagues in solid state and powder analytics.

The perfect candidate:
has completed their vocational training in a lab related function and possesses first experiences in a chemical laboratory. Additionally, the candidate can communicate in German and has good computer skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Performing gravimetric solubility determinations
• General laboratory maintenance activities, e.g., cleaning, waste disposal
• Support routine analysis in various technical areas like thermal analysis, flowability or particle size distributions
• Daily maintenance, waste disposal, clearing dishes, keeping the laboratory clean
• Solubility measurements
• Solid State Analysis

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training in laboratory work
• Initial experience in a chemical laboratory
• Good German skills
• Good computer skills
• Interest in the field of solid state analysis
• Self starter who optimizes processes
• Excellent team player, reliable, flexible and remain calm even in stressful situations
• Open to new ways of working

Nice to have:

• fluent communication in English is a plus
