For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Business Analyst for Laboratory Informatics.

Background:
This position will be part of the Global Laboratory Informatics Systems & Services organization, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. This organization – being part of the Scientific Operations Chapter in Pharma Business Operations – supports and enables our Pharma Research & Early Development (pRED) teams in our efforts to discover and develop new medicines for patients across several therapeutic areas. The responsible Laboratory Informatics Analyst will support scientists in their R&D environment on a routine basis with established and novel IT solutions and applications on laboratory equipment and be part and thrive within a very dynamic environment and surrounded by a team of expert and dedicated colleagues.

The perfect candidate:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is able to work in a dynamic environment, has a flexible mindset and is capable of working collaboratively for different products and product lines. We need someone with an agile background and who has experience in Business Partnering and Networking.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Active maintenance of all laboratory systems to constantly improve the security and overall stability of the global laboratory environment Pro-active support of all business needs in the labs to design, implement and maintain innovative technologies Strong reporting of all requests, incidents and problems using ServiceNow ticketing
Support the customers to provide optimum solutions for data handling (e.g. Data Archiving) considering regulatory compliance and data security and integrity Installation and maintenance of laboratory specific PCs, periphery, network connections, and communication devices Support and maintain System Imaging, System Monitoring and Firewall Management Fulfill service ownership responsibilities within assigned service towers Actively support the implementation of the LISS service structure in all sites Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the required service components / documentation Monitoring the performance of our services and continuously improve the corresponding processes Maintaining continuously inventories for hardware, software and network Builds up and maintains strong relationship with Customers, Business Partners and Service Units as well as the global LISS service team Actively supports the management of Informatics Operations, Technical Operations and Laboratory Informatics Systems & Support in pRED Operations

Must Haves:
* Min. Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any similar further education
* Min. 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst within a GxP environment and agile teams
* Hands-on experience in Windows application troubleshooting, Windows Server/Client OS troubleshooting and Client hardware troubleshooting (HP Business Desktops)
* Strong experience in Active Directory OU & GPO Management , Application packaging and deployment and Security patch deployment (Microsoft, Adobe etc.)
* Hands on scripting experience in PowerShell
* English fluency in spoken and written
