Business Analyst Transport Management – SAP / LTL / FTL / English

Role:

For our pharma client in Basel we are looking for a Business Analyst Transport Management (m/w/d).

Background:

The Transport & Logistics Business Expert is a member of the ASPIRE Intercompany, Trade and Transport Product Management Team and supports the group wide ASPIRE program. In this position you will contribute to the development of the ASPIRE Global Template solution for Transportation and Logistics. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining and prioritizing backlogs items according to release trains and product increments in close collaboration with Business Capability Owners ( BCOs) and Transport products, developing user stories which support business needs, transition scenarios and E2E scenarios and collaborating with system and solution architects to assist in decision making and sequencing of the critical technological infrastructures that will host the new business functionality. The transport and logistics business expert will work in close collaboration with deployments teams and other workstreams and chapters members.

The perfect candidate:

We are looking for someone with a background in Logistics and Transport Management who

has extensive experience with SAP TM. Additionally this candidate should have worked as

Business Analyst (understands BA tasks) within Global Projects of system implementation,

who follows agile principles.

Areas of responsibility:

– Create and maintain product backlog items and develop detailed user stories which support future business needs
– Work in close collaboration with BCOs and stakeholders for the prioritization of backlog items
– Ensure consistency between Adonis and Solution Manager
– Prepare change requests, WRICEFs documentation and present them in E2E Design Authority meetings
– Develop acceptance criteria, test cases and execute them to assure future solutions meets business needs
– Develop transition scenarios and E2E scenarios from or process, systems and data perspective
– Understand system solutions which will host the business functionality and work in close collaboration with system and solution architects to support them in decision making and sequencing of future solutions
– Participate and collaborate in system demos, team meetings and contribute to team goals
– Overseeing the documentation managed in Solution Manager and ensuring compliance with program guidelines
– Coordinate and align project plans with external partners ( 4 PLs logistics providers) or Roche internal partner systems and business functions
– Work in development of training material
– Develop Global SOPs which describes global business processes
– Challenges status quo and target break-through innovations to ensure the current and future business processes are supported
– Monitors and reports deliverable progress and delivery vs. plan for his/her area of responsibility
– Identify & document issues, conduct impact analysis and make recommendations for resolution and drives resolution

Must haves:

– Min. Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration or similar
– Min. 5+ years of work experience in SAP Transport Management (TM)
– Min. 5+ years of operational experience on transport and logistics, working with different mode of transport such as air, ocean, parcel, LTL and FTL
– Experience as Business Analyst and working in global or regional projects implementing system solutions
– Ability to translate requirements into possible system designs (user stories)
– English fluent (spoken and written)
– Demonstrated delivery focus and execution
– Knowledge on how to use quantitative and qualitative approaches to solve business problems
– Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
– Ability to manage several demands and parallel tasks , setting up the right priorities
– High degree of autonomy, quick comprehension, analytical thinking, asks the right questions, convincing communicator

Nice to Haves:
– Knowledge of the SAP SD and MM modules is a plus
– Familiar with Agile and SAFe methodology is a plus (Certification)
