Business Data Senior Consultant – Zürich – 100%

Project:
Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Senior Data Consultant (m/f/d). As an integral part of the team you will be responsible for Coordinating Business Use Cases on a newly developed central Big Data platform.

Tasks:

• Technical coordination with Business to translate business requirements into technical implementation
• Key resource for source system data onboarding & implementation tasks incl. testing of newly sourced datasets
• Agreeing on MVP to be delivered against fixed deadline and deliver required data scope
• Data integration using distributed Big Data platforms
• Data ingestion and propagation using Apache Tools

Requirements:

• Higher education (e.g. „Business Informatics“, „University Applied Sciences“)
• Thorough understanding of Data Requirements‘ analysis on object/attribute level
• Metadata Management, JSON schemas validation
• Working knowledge of Kafka streaming (or Apache Beam)
• Python scripting and extended SQL skills
• Agile experience in Data related projects
• Data Engineering incl. ETL processes, data modelling, data analytics
• Data integration using distributed Big Data platforms
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, MongoDB, Hive, Impala, Hue or similar modern tools would be preferred
• Ideally CAP, CCA or MS Certified DAA
• Certification and experience in market leading Big Data Stacks, e.g. Cloudera, Hortonworks Google Cloud, MS Azure
• Strong Communication skills and Stakeholder Management

• English – Fluent (Written and Spoken)
• German – Nice to have
