For our Pharma client in Basel we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Clinical Distribution Associate (m/w/d).

Background:

Global Clinical Distribution (PTDS-L) is responsible for the worldwide distribution of clinical trial materials for open and blinded clinical studies. Our Global Clinical Distribution Leads (GCDLs) operate a network of 24 depots around the globe, ensuring delivery of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) and Other Study Drugs (OSDs) to the clinical sites on time, in the right quality and quantity. With our strong distribution team capabilities and complimented by our strategic internal and external depot partners we are able to ensure patient delivery into more than 90 countries. Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Processing and surveillance of study specific shipment orders of Investigational Medication Products
• Ensure compliant and efficient execution of the order, distribution and logistics processes on time and in a compliant way
• Issue and prepare timely transfer of products, documents and information
• Maintain and control adherence to trade, customs and tax related compliance standards and provide support for trade or customs related issues in daily business operations
• Preparation of the relevant documents for Import and Export with effective administration for running of order, distribution and logistics operations
• Timely communication to all involved parties
• Act as single point of contact towards different internal and external stakeholder’s e.g. quality, regulatory or finance/controlling functions for the distribution
• Maintain active communication with 3rd party customers on logistics and distribution operations
• Support and contribute to realization of objectives, projects and improvement initiatives

Must Haves:
* BSc or MSc in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or Life Sciences with experience in Documentation

• Min. 5 years‘ experience in Logistics Supply Chain, Clinical Supply Chain, Clinical Operations or the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in documentation or administrative tasks
• Experience in SAP/ G-Suite / MS Office
• Fluency in English is a MUST and German is an advantage

Nice to Haves:
* Experience with GMP/GCP is a plus

• End to end clinical supply chain knowledge is a plus
• Customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills with different levels
• Outstanding team player with dedication and passion
• Strong planning, organization, time-management and end to end process-thinking skills
• Independent self-starter, negotiate, and build consensus skills
