The goal is to ensure reliable, highquality, and cost-effective clinical supply delivery to meet global trial timelines.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • CMO Site Management: Organize and oversee clinical drug labeling, packaging, and device assembly production outsourced to a global network of CMOs.

  • Strategy & Budgeting: Support leadership in defining supply strategies for nonstandard supply chains. Own the budgeting process and submission for CMO project variable costs.
  • Process Ownership & Governance: Establish team scope and division of responsibilities with upstream functions (e.g., device CMO team). Define, track, and report CMO team KPIs.
  • S&OP Representation: Actively drive network supply outcomes and represent the CMO function in the CD&OP process.
  • Managing operational orders, and master data in SAP
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Lead SRM activities and partner with CMOs to ensure long-term capability and capacity for predictable delivery.
  • Financial & Order Execution: Create and maintain Purchase Orders in the purchasing system, review/approve CMO invoices, and execute pre- and postproduction order management in the ERP system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and champion process improvement opportunities, applying technical expertise to resolve complex supply chain issues. Serve as an SME/primary contact for key strategic initiatives.
