Cloud System Engineer and Teamleader (m/f/d) – Cloud / Project Lead / Azure / O365 / English / German

Role:

For our Life Science client based in Zug we are looking for a Cloud System Engineer and Teamleader (m/f/d).

Background:
In the role of a Cloud System Engineer you will manage and operate the Cloud Services and Security for the headquarter (Zug) and international locations (US, Germany, Slovenia, …) and will lead the local user support team for Switzerland with two employees, in cooperation with our global and local teams.

Areas of responsibility:

– Ensure and maintain reliable cloud services (O365, Teams, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and according security

– Lead the ICT Supporters and ensure stable user service operations in Switzerland

– Project manager for cloud services development, consolidation and modernization

– Requirement management, solution concepts, planning, implementation and documentation

– Leading the cloud services change and asset management process proactively

– Ensure data and access protection of cloud workloads and business continuity

– Cooperate with the datacenter, network and security engineer to ensure cloud services and network protection

– Active contribution in Cyber Security projects and compliance, enforce guidelines & policies

– Close cooperation with system engineers, global & local supporters, application managers, partners and suppliers

Education:

– Degree in computer science (University, FH, HF, …) or equivalent experience

– Microsoft certified (MCSE/MCSA) is an advantage

– O365, Veeam and Azure; Networking is an advantage

Skills/Competencies:

– Excellent Microsoft cloud system engineering, analytical and project leadership skills

– Good leadership skills in a global context

– Good communication skills at all levels, speak business and ICT language

– Good ICT process and service skills in local and global context, including using ticketing workflows and systems

– Individual will need to be self-motivated, highly reliable, quality driven and be able to prioritize work volume

– Excellent knowledge regarding modern ICT technologies (O365, Azure, Powershell, scripting, applications, network/security, …)

– Business Fluent in German, good communication skills in English (minimum B1 Level)

– Willing to travel up to 10% (DE, US, SI)

Experience:

– More than 5 years in ICT Infrastructure Engineering, Applications, Operations and Support

– More than 5 years with Microsoft and Cloud Technologies (O365, Azure, SaaS, IaaS, Windows Server, …) and according Security

– More than 4 years with business and infrastructure applications

– Hybrid Cloud Architecture (AD/AAD, SSO/MFA, Permission Management, Data Protection)

– Cloud Service Operation (O365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Telephony, Defender, Monitoring)
