CMMC Business Analyst 100% (m/w/d) – Space / Compliance / NIST / end-to-end

Background:
We are looking for a leading provider of space components for a skilled Business Transformation Project Manager with a strong focus on compliance to lead a key CMMC compliance initiative. In this pivotal role, the selected candidate will work closely with the client’s CMMC Program Lead to drive compliance efforts and achieve the required CMMC Certification.
The role involves mapping compliance-related data flows, proposing new business processes, and shaping ways of working across the organization to ensure full alignment with CMMC requirements.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Process Analysis and Improvement:
o Lead and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders and users
o Map and analyze CUI data flow to provide a scope for the compliance
o Analyze existing end-to-end business processes
o Propose new ways of working to ensure compliance
* Propose process update: Based on the compliance (regulatory) requirements and your review of the existing business processes, propose what processes and procedures need to be updated and how across various business functions like sales and marketing, project management, engineering/ manufacturing, order to cash and so on.
* Update existing processes:
o Collaborate with local process owners, review the proposed processes with business, obtain respective approvals, update the processes using respective format and required steps
o Collaborate with business anlysts on another business project: To ensure there is an alignment and no duplication.
o Collaborate with IT and IS (Information Security teams): align on the scope, support documents, process and SOPs creation
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across many business functions and global programs.
* Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive documentation as required at country level.
Required Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of CMMC/ NIST/ DFARS
* Business Analyst: 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst mapping out end-to-end business processes and SOPs and updating them in various forms (i.e. using Visio).
* Cross-Functional Understanding: Strong understanding of various business functions such as engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. While deep expertise in each area isn’t necessary, a high-level understanding of how these functions interact is a must have.
* Experience with compliance / regulatory programs and audits: Understand that regulatory requirements change the existing processes and people’s ways of working. Ability to interpret compliance or regulatory (legal) requirements (with the help with specialist on this DFARS/ CMMC regulation), assess their impact on existing business processes and identify how to change and update the existing processes and procedures.
* Good knowledge and experience with working with IT across its various functionalities like applications, network, and infrastructure. Some knowledge of how Information Security (IS) and IT should work together.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including those in busy roles. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive projects forward are essential.
* Rigorous Documentation and Reporting: Experience in preparing clear and concise documentation.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams across various departments, such as IT, cybersecurity, legal, trade compliance, and procurement.
* Cross-Cultural Competence: Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
* Teamwork: Ability to lead and motivate teams, even those outside of their direct reporting structure.
* Remote working: This is a global role and people need to be able to work remotely and create relationships with colleagues in different time zones.
* Experience in the aerospace or other regulated industry
* Experience with working on a regulatory project where processes and policies had to be changed based on the new regulation
* Some knowledge of cybersecurity
