Compliance System Coordinator (f/m/d) – solution / track record / Process Management / English

For our customer a big pharmaceutical company located in Basel we are searching for a highly qualified Compliance System Coordinator (f/m/d).

Background:

approveD is a globally harmonized solution for internal Compliance Approvals of interactions and events with Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organisations (HCO). It can be customized to local affiliate’s needs, e.g. for approval workflows or relevant documents. The solution enables users to capture HCP/ HCO interactions and events for documentation,review and approval. This comprises speaker arrangements, consultancy support, grants,sponsorships, donations etc. Finally, the system supports an automated contract creation based on templates and integration into the downstream process (Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order, Invoice-to[1]Pay).

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Business Case:

– Review scope and functionalities of the approveD solution to-date.

– Identify and describe potential gaps raised by key affiliates (i.e. China, others as well TBD).

– Drive assessment of feasibility and cost to close the gaps together with the IT / development team.

– Outline expected benefits, i.e. SOFT savings (such as improved compliance) and HARD savings (e.g. process efficiencies, decommissioning of legacy solutions) and quantify HARD savings.

– Generate a business case by providing an overview on savings and cost. Make recommendations for further developments / releases. Conclude decision-making with Product Owner and Global Business Process Owner.

Strategy:

– Short-/Mid-term: Compile a short- and mid-term strategy (from now up to 3 years) for the approveD solution considering the dynamic system landscape at Roche (i.e. decommissioning of legacy solutions like iHCP / GSD). Drive alignment with relevant stakeholders and prepare scenarios.

– Conclude decision-making with Product Owner and Global Business Process Owner.

– Long-term Compile a long-term strategy (beyond 3 years from now) for the approveD solution considering the dynamic system landscape at Roche (i.e. deployment of new tools like RoME).

– Drive alignment with relevant stakeholders and prepare scenarios.

– Conclude decision-making with Product Owner and Global Business Process Owner.

Deployment:

– Initiate engagement with affiliates that have an interest or need for the solution.

– Drive deployment activities including a kick-off meeting, clarification of configuration details, preparation and execution of testing activities, monitoring of bug fixing up until end of hyper care phase (4 weeks post deployment)

Others:

– Ensure close collaboration with development team and support team for relevant activities

Must haves:
– University degree in Business, Finance or IT area

– More than 7 years of work experience in that area (preferably a mix of Business/Finance and IT)

– Strong influencing skills and ability to work in complex global networks with international teams and stakeholder communities

– Proven track record participating in global projects/initiatives (preferably transformational of nature) and cross functional teams

– Strong Business Process Management skills, i.e. ability to listen, understand and clearly describe business requirements as well as implementation of change requests incl. testing and documentation

– Experience in identifying and leading change initiatives and proven track record of effective decision making

– Exceptional organizational skills and time management, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely and high quality accomplishment of such

– Perfect written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Haves:

– Experience in Financial Accounting and related systems (ideally SAP Fiori);

– Experience with transparency reporting guidelines & laws;

– Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
