Project:

Our client in the banking industry is looking for an experienced Data Architect. As an integral part of the team you will look at Data platform project sources, cleanse and deliver the data for different business use cases as a single source of accuracy.

Tasks:

• Modelling logical and physical data model for a Global Financial Data Platform
• Liaise with Business, Data Domain Owners and Central Data Architects as well as Strategic Programs to gather conceptual view on data domains
• Support Data Engineers in implementing load processes to load data into physical model
• Performance and implementation tuning of data access
• Strive to identify re-use potential across different data domains
• Key resource for building up the logical and physical data model of the Bank
• Stakeholder Management

Requirements:

• Higher education (e.g. „Business Informatics“, „University Applied Sciences“)
• Very good design/technical understanding of big data architecture relevant topics across the common part of the data platform (hands-on)
• Good understanding of relational Data Modelling and Technology
• 5-10 years‘ experience with Data Architecture
• Solid Agile experience in Data related projects
• Experience in large data migration projects
• Excellent and confident communication manner as you will be required to communicate at Senior Management level
• Experience of Cloudera / Google Cloud Platform / MS Azure / Hortonworks

Languages:

• English – Fluent (Written and Spoken)
• German – Nice to have
