Project:
Our client in the banking industry is looking for an experienced Data Architect. Working as part of the Data platform project Team, you will be responsible for the cleansing and delivering of data for different business use cases as single source of truth.

Tasks:

• Modelling logical and physical data model for a Global Financial Data Platform
• Liaise with Business, Data Domain Owners and Central Data Architects as well as Strategic Programs to gather conceptual view on data domains
• Support Data Engineers in implementing load processes to load data into physical model
• Performance and implementation tuning of data access
• Strive to identify re-use potential across different data domains
• Key resource for building up the logical and physical data model

Requirements:

• Higher education (e.g. „Business Informatics“, „University Applied Sciences“)
• Very good design/technical understanding of big data architecture relevant topics across the common part of the data platform (hands-on)
• Good understanding of relational Data Modelling and Technology
• 5-10 years‘ experience with Data Architecture, ideally in large Data migration projects
• Expert knowledge of ETL tools on the market
• Hands on Data Governance tools experience (e.g.Collibra, Tableau Prep builder)
• Solid Big Data experience using on-prem or cloud based solutions (Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
• Solid Agile experience in Data related projects
• Python and Spark working knowledge

Languages:

• English – Fluent (Written and Spoken)
• German – Nice to have
