Project:

For our client from the banking sector we are looking for Analytics DevOps DB Engineer (m/f/d), who takes care of the processing of streaming analytics and ensures stable performance on the platform.

Main tasks:

• Review of the data analytics platform in trading (application for collecting market and order data)
• Special focus on improving the performance and stability of the platform in the area of tick data
• Collaboration on the solution architecture and the expansion of the analytics platform in trading (scaling)

Requirements:

• Degree (Uni/FH) in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics or comparable education.
• Experience with the conception, configuration and integration of applications in the field of data analytics (BigData)
• Experience with the configuration and optimisation of databases for tick data, in particular with a focus on query and memory performance
• Willingness for support / on-call – Experience and knowledge in FX/PM trading advantageous
• Experience with PostgreSQL Timescale DB and InfluxDBGit, Gradle, Cloudbees/Jenkins, Continuous Delivery Pipeline
• Good Linux (RedHat) knowledge
• Open-minded team player with a healthy dose of ambition and assertiveness

Languages:

• German: A Level (spoken and written) would be an advantage
• English: C-Level(spoken and written
