eFX Application Engineer

Project.
For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an accomplished Application Engineer (m/w/d.

Tasks:

• Involvement in all aspects of our trading applications. From change-the-bank to support
• Integration of third-party software into our application landscape.
• Main contact person for external software suppliers
• Collaboration and management of our software suppliers regarding features, releases, roadmap, SLA etc.
• Collaboration in regression and user acceptance testing

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in application management and software engineering
• Experience in the trading environment – preferably foreign exchange trading / FX trading -.
• Understanding of the conception, design and development of applications and systems
• Communicative and team-oriented personality who works independently and is able to work under pressure
• Conceptual way of thinking
• Practical experience in working with Linux and Windows systems
• Knowledge of Bash / PowerShell / python
• Technical knowledge in databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle, MSSSQL)

Languages:

• English: Business fluent min. C1 (written and spoken)
• German: an advantage
