Enterprise & Solution Architect (m, f, d) – 100%, Zürich

Role: For our client a leading Insurance Group, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise & Solution Architect. You will join to help optimise the Enterprise Architecture as they are currently in the middle of a digital transformation.

Areas of responsibility:

• You will help to optimize the Enterprise Architecture Framework, create and implement strategies to achieve business goals
• Together with other experts you will Analyse, measure, and optimise customer needs in terms of processes, business and IT architecture, data and interfaces, while facilitating a solid decision in the dedicated Board
• Based on the company’s strategy you suggest improvements to IT application landscape
• You will be responsible to maintain and further develop the application inventory
• You design solutions based on the existing application architecture and help in building the future IT architecture

Requirements:

• Education BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Informatics or related field
• Valid work permit for CH/EU
• Growth mindset and holistic thinking
• Knowledge of Insurance business models and applications/tools landscape is a strong advantage
• Solid track record in the areas of Enterprise Architecture (minimum 10 years)
• Specializations in process, data or application architecture are great. As well as profound modeling skills in these areas
• Ability to work under pressure cooperatively and to describe and present complex issues in a comprehensible way
• Very good presentation (PowerPoint) and report (Excel and Word) skills
• Ability to lead IT specialists through controversial architecture discussions to optimal solutions

Languages:

• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
• Fluent German Min.C1 (spoken and written)
