For our client, a large pharmaceutical company located in Basel, we are looking for a First Level Application Support

Background:
Drug Substance Manufacturing Drug Substance Manufacturing (PTM) is responsible for managing our end-to-end drug substance production and supply, from the raw materials to the medicine delivered to patients. PTM consists of manufacturing sites in North America, Europe and Asia. We have an opportunity for a Level 1 Supporter on a PTM IT project called Basecamp 2.0.
The aim of the project is to manage the manufacturing process specification over the lifecycle of the product across the network for Drug Substance. Basecamp 2.0 is an Enterprise Recipe Management system that will specify processes including: Manufacturing steps and activities, Parameters and their targets, including Process Validation and license limits, and Materials, their usage and production of intermediates.

The perfect candidate:
We are looking for a young professional candidate who has an IT background in a manufacturing environment with application support experience and experience in using Jira. This candidate has a solution-oriented, autonomous, structured and thoroughly disciplined work style. The person will give First Level Support to the manufacturing engineers.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Request Management for both PROD and SANDBOX systems
* Triaging, communication and documentation of requests
* Facilitation of Hypercare / Level 1 support huddle
* Ownership/Maintenance of Hypercare/Level 1 Support Handbook
* Answering user enquiries on how to use the application for Enterprise Recipe Management (some business knowledge required/needs to be acquired)
* Investigation of defects etc.
* Defect Management (Exploratory Application testing to verify software quality / implementation
of user stories)

Must have:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar, Health Sciences and / or relevant work experience
* Min. 1 -3 years work experience as System or Application Support in the manufacturing environment and in multi-site manufacturing projects with good understanding of the manufacturing business process
* Understanding of lean agile practices (e.g. SCRUM, DevOps) and how to apply them
* Experience in CSV and GxP compliant environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
* Experience with using Jira Backlogs/Kanban Boards
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Exceptional organizational skills
* A solution-oriented, autonomous, structured and thoroughly disciplined work style
* Proven ability for superior communication skills, expectation management and stakeholder management
* Excellent presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience working in a global, virtual team in a complex matrix organization / Cultural awareness

Nice to Haves
* Previous Roche experience
* Fluent in German (written and spoken)
* ISA S88 / S95 knowledge experience
