For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Full Stack Expert Developer.

Background:
We are looking for a Full Stack Expert Developer to further develop the EDISON (Enlightened Data Integration SOlutioN) Platform, which addresses the root causes of low data quality by harmonizing, automating and integrating the process in which clinical biomarker data is acquired and integrated. The successful candidate will be responsible for the frontend and backend development of the platform.

The perfect candidate: We are looking for an Expert Full Stack Developer who has strong and hands-on SpringBoot experience, good coding practices and experience in the cloud environment. English fluency is a must in spoken and written. In addition this candidate needs to be an expert in Vue.js.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the frontend and backend development of the EDISON platform
* Very knowledgeable of Test-Driven Development and agile methodologies.
* Avid learner. Highly driven to improve their skills.
* Proactively collaborate with a team comprising of informatics experts, software engineers and life science experts

Must Haves:
* Min. Master degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
* Min. 5+ years of experience as a full stack software development, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry or at least regulated industry
* Highly proficient in Vue.js, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5
* Deep experience with Java, SpringBoot & MongoDB
* Demonstrated strong working knowledge of best coding practices (software craftsmanship, clean code,TDD/BDD/DDD, pair-programming)
* Deep experience with SpringBoot, SpringCloud & MongoDB
* Experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, Git, GitLab)
* Fluent in English
* Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
* Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
* Strong communication skills

Nice to Haves:
* Experience with Docker containers
* Experience with D3 visualization library
* Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions (preferably GCP or AWS)
* Project-based work experience
