For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Fullstack Developer.

Background:

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to strengthen the software team within an interdisciplinary department of software, electronics, mechanical and test engineers. In this challenging position, you will have the opportunity to develop software for the Frontend and BackendForFrontend of a networked mechatronic component embedded within a large laboratory automation system. The system subsumes a real-time subsystem, engineered with a PLC (programmable logic controller) to provide outstanding reliability, and a non-realtime subsystem to provision a state-of-the-art user experience. The system is tested using both real and simulated hardware with a high degree of automation.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Participation in all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing and bug fixing and maintenance with the opportunity to tailor the role to your strengths (e.g. SCRUM Master, CI/CD expert, Linux Specialist)
• Participation in the definition of work packages, their estimation and planning in a sprint-based agile environment
• Adherence to a software development process including contribution to written deliverables and documentation

Must Haves:

• Min. Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer sciences or related field
• Min. 7+ years‘ experience as Software Engineer or Fullstack Developer in a highly regulated industry environment in agile teams and methodologies
• Hands- on experience and sound knowledge of NodeJS coding combined with at least one other object-oriented language
• Hands- on experience and sound knowledge of the react Javascript Library
• Must be proficient with git and git-flow
• Fluent communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Fluent communication skills in German beneficial
• Experience in GraphQL, Apollo Server, NestJS
• Experience in scripting or Build- and Test Automation Systems
• Experience in C++
• Experience in Linux
