GCS PMO Project Manager (m/f/d) – Waterfall / Agile / Scrum Master / Lab Diagnostics / English

Role:

For our client Roche based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a GCS PMO Project Manager (m/f/d).

Background:

Support Roche Diagnostics Global Customer Support (GCS) Project Leaders (mainly for

development of Roche Information Solution products) in planning, executing, monitoring,

controlling and closing their projects.

Ideal candidate:

To support IT development projects, we are looking for a Project Manager. This person would

ideally have an understanding or previous experience of IT projects, in the area of lab

diagnostics. We need someone fluent in English who has completed minimum a Bachelor with at

least 3 years of experience in complex projects. This person should have an Agile certification.

Any PM certification would be an advantage.

Please note we do not need a technical IT profile but a strong Project Manager with an

understanding of IT projects/products.

Professional and technical requirements:
– Create and update project plans in SmartSheet or other tools

– Organize and participate in project team meetings and workshops; document and follow up on

actions and decisions; coordinate milestone preparations

– Coordinate dependencies, timelines and budgets for the GCS project

– Drive the identification and analysis of risks, issues and opportunities

– Consult regarding project management principles and best practices

– Align with parent project and related projects

– Contribute to stakeholder management and the creation of the communication plan

– Monitor and report key performance indicators for project, enabling team to measure and

improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness

Additional tasks:

– Foster a work culture committed to customer focus, compliance, and continuous improvement

– Work in an international matrix and align with interfacing initiatives

Must Haves:

– Fluency (spoken and written) in English is mandatory

– 3+ years of experience in managing complex (Waterfall, Agile and hybrid) projects

– Deep understanding of and significant experience with agile frameworks and ways of working.

Certified Scrum Master or similar agile project certification is mandatory.

– Experience within IT development projects in the area of lab diagnostics

– Completed Bachelor studies in the field of engineering, information technology

– Adept at working in an international matrix environment and at influencing and persuading

without directive power

– Well-structured and goal-oriented working methods and a good team player

Nice to haves:

– Fluency in Spanish

– General project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2)
