For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Informatics Service Activity Coordinator

Background:
The Discovery Informatics organization is responsible to operate and maintain scientific software solutions used in drug discovery of pRED (Pharma Research and Early Discovery).

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator who is able to coordinate and support the successful execution of global strategic and operational service activities.

Tasks & Responsibilities
* Interact and support system owners and service managers to ensure efficient execution of strategic and operational activities in the maintenance of ~60 scientific software solutions
* Engage with supporting internal functions such as procurement, finance and contract management as well as external vendors to optimize contracts and licence agreements
* Engage with different stakeholders and user representatives to identify optimization opportunities for the respective service teams
* Support service managers in coordination and tracking of global service activities
* Compile usage data for the supported applications and analyze cost to value ratio for each system with the expected outcome to identify optimization opportunities
* Analyze the impact of global infrastructure lifecycle programs (such as decommissioning of IE11) on the supported application landscape and coordinate mitigation efforts

Must Haves:
* Master Degree in Informatics, HealthCare discipline or similar
* Min. 5-7 years hands-on experience as informatics project coordinator, preferred in the pharmaceutical research environment
* Min. 3 years of system lifecycle management experience in an project environment including vendor management experience
* Experience in Moderation, Coaching and preparing of workshops with different stakeholder
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English spoken and written

Nice to Haves:
* Experience in pharma research is a plus
* Experience with Research informatics Application
* German is a plus
