The position is located in the pRED Innovation Enabling Office (IEO). The IEO is a new department of skilled project/change managers, and business drivers and coaches, which seeks to optimise the impact of innovation across the pRED value chain. The office has four key strategic focus areas (SFAs) with distinct but interlinked services: Innovation Powerhouse (driving portfolio enabling innovation), Change & Impact Partner (partnering to drive and embed change), Skills & Capabilities Access (enhancing visibility and access to development offerings enterprise-wide) and Innovative Partnerships (optimising internal & external collaborations).

The perfect candidate:
The perfect candidate has few years of experience in project management and in the pharmaceutical industry. Ideally, the candidate has already experience in working with EU Projects. The person needs to have good communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.

Hauptaufgaben und Verantwortungsbereiche:
* Support Innovation Enabling Office (IEO) strategic focus areas where required
* Oversee the operational initiation, execution, management and close-out of the Roche portfolio of European Union (EU) collaborative projects.
* Ensure operational compliance with all external contractual agreements for the current EU portfolio.
* Strategic project management to support and drive implementation of the EU Portfolio and associated partnership and IEO initiatives across the organisation.
* Ensure alignment with key strategic priorities, and objectives; guide teams towards processes and engage accordingly.
* Support the structure, ease, and engagement interactions within cross-functional teams.
* Ensure identification, involvement, and engagement of all relevant stakeholders; make sure that well-informed decisions are taken
* Stakeholder management, to establish and uphold successful internal and external partnerships; awareness and accurate application of such, considering different levels of the organisation (e.g. from laboratory to leadership team).
* Create and deliver integrated communication activities to engage target audience(s) that builds on a strong narrative and set of compelling messages of the effort.

Must Haves:
* Min 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry with a good understanding of drug development process
* Min 5 years years experience of hands-on organisational project management
* Experience in defining, driviving and executing European Projects strategy, while at the same time being pragmatic and swift in translating the strategy into tactical measures and actions.
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Cultural awareness, concern for people and influencing skills.
* Experience in facilitating, setting up, and structuring workshops, face to face, and virtual set-ups.
* Good knowledge and application skills of agile values, practices and methodologies.
* Experience with working independently with broad guidance and at the same time working in a very collaborative manner.
* Great interpersonal skills and ability to influence and mobilise others for results.
* Positive and solution-driven mindset, being able to embrace diversity; considering perspectives, inviting opinions and curiosity.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills
* Business fluency in English language.

Nice to haves:
* University degree
* Experience working in the Life science (Roche) sector and an understanding of the Research & Development (R&D) value-chain
* Experience in working with EU Projects and knowledge of EU legislation
* Experience in Learning and Training Management
* Ability to operate with the end in mind, and impact-driven; application of OBP (outcome-based planning)
* Experience in using Trello, Smartsheets, Google Suite is an advantage
* German + French is a plus
