Project: For our client in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational implementation of internal IT projects with a wide range of focus areas, from the management of strategic initiatives, to organisational change measures, to the development and adaptation of processes, IT services, software tools, digitalisation initiatives, procurement projects, etc. You will be responsible for the implementation of IT projects.

These are mainly projects of small or medium size, which are limited in their complexity, but require clear and professional management according to best practice project methodology. The IT project manager is therefore the guarantor for the successful operational positioning of IT within the framework of the internal transformation.

Your responsibilities:

• Successful planning and execution of IT projects through quality assurance, adherence to deadlines and milestones, as well as project budgets and proactive risk management.
• Active information and communication to the steering committee and all stakeholders in the project
• Consistent effectiveness of IT governance according to GIT guidelines
• Full transparency on projects and resource requirements and availability
• Competitive advantages and high level of cost-effectiveness through efficient project implementation
• Comprehensive transparency on projects carried out, their status, components and costs for a cause-related breakdown for clients
• Maximum efficiency and use of synergies between projects
• Congruence with strategic goals in the further development and enforcement of defined standards and guidelines in project planning and implementation
• Maintenance of IT security as required and comprehensive stability, availability, confidentiality and integrity of IT resources and assets (information, systems, projects and services) in the identification and introduction and further development of new IT solutions
• Proven compliance and consistently ensured information and data protection

Requirements:

You have at least eight years‘ experience as an IT project manager and can demonstrate in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

• Successful planning and implementation of IT projects through quality assurance, adherence to deadlines and milestones, as well as project budgets and proactive risk management.
• Steering, coordination, monitoring and communication of project progress
• Active information and communication to the steering committee and all stakeholders in the project
• Proactively proposing improvements and simplifications in project implementations
• Ensuring quality and standards in project implementation as well as strategic development of process models and standards for projects
