For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Lab Technician

Background:

Within the analytics support team in Rotkreuz we are looking for someone that can support with different analysis on several instruments. Our main techniques are: different liquid chromatography analysis (reversed phase, size exclusion, ion exchange and gel permeation) with UV/VIS, Fluorescence, Refractive Index, Conductivity detectors and/or coupled with mass spectrometry analysis. Nested and digital PCR as well as DNA sequencing analysis.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Run analysis on UPLC instruments (routine)

• Run dPCR or other PCR as required
• Documentation or analysis
• Support team members in new methods implementation
• Support team members during root cause investigations
• Evaluate data independently and summarize analysis in reports

Must Haves:

• Finished apprenticeship as laboratory technician in Biology or Chemistry
• Min. 1-2 years‘ experience in either liquid chromatography or different PCR techniques
• Good knowledge of MS Office and GSuite; knowledge of Empower3 and/or Chromeleon are a plus
• Very good written and oral skills in English are required, German skills are a plus
• Likes to work in a team, proactive behavior and willingness to learn new skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in analysis with Mass and Tandem Mass spectrometry
• GMP knowledge
