For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Practitioner (m/f/d).

Background:
As a Life Cycle Assessment Practitioner you will have the opportunity to use your LCA expertise to conduct product environmental and carbon footprints for the Diagnostics Division in Roche. Working closely with the LCA Lead and with stakeholders from all functional areas you will evaluate innovative projects to quantify reductions and support sustainable decisions.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal streamlined LCAs for Roche diagnostic products
* Support LCA scope definition and data collection
* Develop LCA models in Simapro and spreadsheets to calculate environmental impacts
* Conduct research to ensure the delivery of high-quality LCA results
* Create comprehensive LCA reports
* Develop ISO-compliant LCAs to substantiate external communications
* Support eco-design workshops with product development groups
* Communicate LCA knowledge to a wide stakeholder audience

Must Haves:
* Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Ecology, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields that involve environmental impact assessment and LCA
* Minimum of 2 years of practical technical experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
* Knowledge of LCA standards, such as ISO 14044 or ISO 14067
* Experience in the use of commercial LCA software (e.g. Simapro) and databases (e.g. Ecoinvent)
* Fluency in English is necessary, German is a plus
* Skilled in data analysis and visualization
* Good organization skills and ability to work independently in multiple projects simultaneously
* A confident communicator with excellent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics to a broad audience
* A proactive team player, who actively participates in decisions about the project and is passionate about contributing to sustainability initiatives
