MOM IBM Consultant (m/f/d), 50-100%/ Custumization / Verona /Aarburg/ Remote

Project/Role: For our client in the system industry we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) IBM Consultant for a GEC ONCITE Digital Production System project. The consultant will be capable of understanding and configuring the various components of clients software product, particularly the Plant Service Bus (PSB), which serves as the integration and communication layer for smartMOM data. Furthermore, the consultant will play a key role in developing specialized process flows and human-machine interfaces, including the integration of machines using the OPC UA standard.

Tasks:

• Configure the Plant Service Bus (PSB) for seamless integration of data for smartMOM, including SAP data, machine data, and AGV communication.
• Develop and implement customized process flows and interfaces, including an interface to the tool manager and a management system for tool assembly processes.
• Provide guidance and direction on standardizing „plug and work“ communication between machines using OPC UA.
• Collaborate closely with the GEC team and other involved stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with GEC ONCITE Digital Production Systems.
• Proficiency in databases, operating systems, hardware, software development, and programming languages.
• Fluent English language skills, with knowledge of Italian being advantageous.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within an international team.
• Availability to commence work from August/September 2023 for a duration of 3-5 months

Languages:

• English: fluent in spoken and written
• Italian is nice to have but not mandatory
