Operational Excellence Specialist (f/m/d) – Smartsheet / Six Sigma / Black Belt / Tableau / English

For our pharma client Roche in Rotkreuz ZG we looking for a highly qualified Operational Excellence Specialist.

Background:

The Operational Excellence and Simulation Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing process improvement initiatives. The goal of these initiatives is to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance and customer satisfaction. This individual will work closely with department managers and staff to identify opportunities for improvement, and will lead teams in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures using simulation techniques.

The perfect candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business management, natural sciences, engineering or quality management) and at least 5 years of experience leading process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing, retail or service-based industry. Also experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six

Sigma, or other relevant frameworks

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and optimization across the

organization

• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
• Analyze and track key performance indicators to measure the success of process improvement

efforts

• Provide guidance and mentorship to department managers and staff on process improvement

and simulation best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to identify and implement best

practices in operational excellence

• Communicate progress and results to senior management, and provide recommendations for

future improvements.

• Use simulation techniques such as Simio to model and optimize processes and operations.
  
  Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business management, natural sciences,

engineering (mechanical, industrial, process) or quality management

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing,

retail or service-based industry

• Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Strong leadership skills, able to lead and manage cross-functional teams and lead projects

effectively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Proficient in process mapping and data analysis software, MS Office and other relevant tools
• Experience with Business Intelligence Software such as Tableau or Smartsheet is an advantage
• Experience with simulation software such as Simio is an advantage
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred
