For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Process / MSAT Engineer

Background:

Roche Blood Gas and Electrolyte (BG&E) systems are first frontier diagnostics systems which deliver fast and reliable results in situations critical to the patient’s welfare: Intensive care unit, Emergency room, Operating room, Neonatal station.

We, the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Engineering Team, own our product quality in the field as well as the yield of our production lines for reagents, sensors and electrodes. We provide scientific support to our product’s manufacturing organization, resolve issues in a structured and analytical way, drive investigations and continuous improvement actions. At our core, we thrive for building compliance through quality and safeguard the market supply of high quality BG/E products. We have an open, innovative mindset to seek for sustainable solutions and creative improvements for the routine manufacturing areas in a highly regulated environment.

We are structured as an agile organization with squads at the center, supported by appropriate competencies organized in chapters and aligned delivery focus organized in sub-networks. With this setup, we can easily adapt to changing priorities and support the dynamic needs of the supply organization.

As a MSAT Engineer, you have direct impact on, and bring direct value to our patients and customers. You are supported by your squad and chapter team. Starting with compliance tasks such as non conformity-, change- and document management you can grow in your role and take on more responsibility towards products or processes and eventually coordinating squads as squad lead.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Non conformity- , change- and document management in SAP (process / method / material / equipment)
  * Enact a problem solving process to ensure a fact based and data driven root cause analysis and countermeasure identification.
  * Ensure compliance through thorough documentation and timely actions in collaboration with quality assurance
  * Adopt & optimize production processes to improve quality, increase yield and lower cost for the respective product
  * Establish, maintain and continuously improve Control Loops for the respective product
  
  Must Haves:
• University / FH degree in Natural Science or Engineering (i.e. Biotech/Biology, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, …) OR apprenticeship with experience in a related field
  * Min. intermediate knowhow in a programming language (R, Python, Matlab, …)
  * Fluent communication skills in English and good knowledge of German (B2+)
  * Enthusiasm to take responsibility and proactively collaborate with a highly engaged team of engineers, operators, quality assurance, planning & logistics and by creating solutions which take their diverse perspectives into account
  * Inspiration / interest for learning manufacturing technologies and continuously improve diverse BG&E processes with a hands on approach to support our in-house production efficiently
  * High motivation for working in a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently within and across teams

  Nice to have:

• Experience in a highly regulated industry
  * Six Sigma green belt
  * Background in statistics
