For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Project Sourcing Manager.

Background:
The Project Sourcing Manager is responsible for the execution of high-value and complex sourcing, contract and supplier management activities supporting the development and commercialization of products. The role is responsible for driving the sourcing process, end to end, including the active management and monitoring of supplier performance throughout the engagement. As subject matter expert, the Project Sourcing Manager influences and guides cross-functional teams through best-in- class sourcing and contract management activities. The Project Sourcing Manager is responsible for ensuring all sourcing requests are executed in line with business strategy and priorities, as synthesized by the Business Partner, including preferred supplier arrangements and contracting requirements (associated statements of work, change orders, or similar documents). The Project Sourcing Manager and Business Partner work closely together to understand and translate requirements to supplier deliverables with associated acceptance criteria, and execute fit-for-purpose processes by applying best-in-class methodologies, tools, and value levers to meet defined deadlines. The Project Sourcing Manager partners with stakeholders and influences as required to ensure optimal sourcing decisions and supplier performance outcomes are achieved. To support end- to-end value delivery, the role collaborates closely with Business Partners and the Category Management teams to translate business requirements into robust sourcing strategies. The Project Sourcing Manager acts as a key point of contact for Direct Procurement during the product development process within the scope of their responsibility. Through continuous improvement methodologies, this role delivers consistent business-relevant value through gaining operational efficiencies and driving optimal supplier performance. As part of the procurement process the role also collaborates with legal and / or contracting functions to support contracting activities such as the preparation and review of master agreements, statements of work, change orders, or similar documents.

The Project Sourcing Manager is an expert of business enterprise tools (e.g. SAP) and the overall procurement process / methodology. The role has an expert understanding of internal stakeholder functions and requirements, and effectively translates business needs into procurement requirements and actions. The Project Sourcing Manager has expert knowledge of project management, the product development process, and Roche’s category and supplier management approach, and applies this expertise to project needs. As a senior team member, this position plays a key role in defining and building the team’s functional competency and skill sets.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the execution of high-value and complex sourcing, contract and supplier management activities supporting the development and commercialization of Roche products
* Responsible for driving the sourcing process, end to end, including the active management and monitoring of supplier performance throughout the engagement
* Influences and guides cross-functional teams through best-in-class sourcing and contract management activities
* ensuring all sourcing requests are executed in line with business strategy and priorities, as synthesized by the Business Partner, including preferred supplier arrangements and contracting requirements (associated statements of work, change orders, or similar documents)
* Work closely together with the Business Partner together to understand and translate requirements to supplier deliverables with associated acceptance criteria, and execute fit-for-purpose processes by applying best-in-class methodologies, tools, and value levers to meet defined deadlines
* Partners with stakeholders and influences as required to ensure optimal sourcing decisions and supplier performance outcomes are achieved
* Support end- to-end value delivery, collaborate closely with Business Partners and the Category Management teams to translate business requirements into robust sourcing strategies
* Acts as a key point of contact for Direct Procurement during the product development process within the scope of responsibility
* Deliver consistent business-relevant value through gaining operational efficiencies and driving optimal supplier performance
* Collaborate with legal and / or contracting functions to support contracting activities such as the preparation and review of master agreements, statements of work, change orders, or similar documents

Must Haves:
* Finished University Degree, preferably in Engineering
* Min. 6 years‘ experience working as Project Manager
* Min. 6 years working in Procurement / Sourcing, ideally with instruments and software
* Good IT skills with G-Suite and with electronic ordering systems, knowledge of MyBuy & SAP
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Very good written and oral skills in German and English are required
* Very good communication skills
* Strategic thinking and understanding of higher-level contexts
* Conceptual and analytical skills
* Enthusiasm, proactivity and initiative
* Results-oriented approach as well as target group-oriented and confident appearance

Nice to have:
* Experiences in biochemistry and reagents
