R Developer / .NET Developer (m/f/d)

R Developer / .NET Developer (m/f/d) – 60-100% Remote

Project: For our client from the energy sector we are looking for a R Developer /.Net developer (m/f/d), with solid R and .NET background to support our client with a R upgrade project.

Tasks:

• Migrate conversion to dataframe from C#.NET API service (DSL) to R package (dsl.RestClient)
• Review the dsl.RestClient code
• Propose the best practice for supporting multiple versions of R in dsl.RestClient
• Migrate dsl.RestClient from 3.4 to 4.2.x (while supporting previous version at the same time)
• Review an R package (dataDistribution)
• Propose how to remove dependency on rClr from dataDistribution package
• Implement agreed changes to dataDistribution package, and migrate from 3.4 to version 4.2.x

Requirements:

• Several years of experience working as a .Net Developer
• Several years of experience with migration or upgrade in Rest Client projects
• Strong .Net and R skills ideally with dataDistribution,

Languages:

• English business fluent at least C1
