Salesforce Developer (m,f,d), 100% Service Cloud/ Custumization / Aarburg

Project/Role: For our client in the system industry we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer. You will join a dynamic IT department and collaborate with a small team to develop and enhance the clients Salesforce platform based on the division’s requirements. This is a time and material contract position for an initial duration of 6 months, with a possibility of extension into 2024.

Tasks:

• Collaborate with the IT team and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions.
• Customize and configure Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud according to business needs, ensuring best practices and scalability.
• Develop and maintain integrations/interfaces between Salesforce and other systems, utilizing APIs and middleware tools.
• Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure smooth transition and integrity of data between systems.
• Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other applications.
• Develop and execute unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure high-quality code deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs, and system errors related to Salesforce functionality and integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of development activities, including technical designs, configurations, and customizations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, specifically in Sales and Service Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce customization and configuration.
• Proven experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and data migration.
• Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow Builder) and Lightning Web Components.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, data modeling, and best practices.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Agile/Scrum).
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified s.o) are highly desired.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• English: fluent in spoken and written
• German or other languages are nice to have but not mandatory
