SAP Project Manager – (m,f,d) S/4 HANA – Transformation

Project: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with our client who is currently undergoing a transformative phase with their recent migration to SAP S/4HANA.

As the SAP Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting our customer’s transformation strategy and will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic evolution of the organization’s SAP environment. You will be responsible for orchestrating and overseeing the successful implementation of initiatives aimed at maximizing the benefits of SAP S/4HANA across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of transformation initiatives leveraging SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable transformation plans.
• Drive organizational change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Evaluate the current SAP landscape and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Partner with external SAP consultants and solution providers to assess, prioritize, and implement SAP S/4HANA enhancements.
• Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP S/4HANA-related matters, both internally and externally.
• Document and communicate project milestones, successes, and lessons learned to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading SAP transformation projects, particularly in the context of migrating to SAP S/4HANA, with a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA functionalities and best practices.
• Hands-on expertise in configuring and customizing SAP S/4HANA modules, including but not limited to FI-CO, MM, and SD, to meet the organization’s specific business requirements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and leveraging Fiori applications to enhance user experience and drive operational efficiency within the SAP ecosystem.
• Strong technical acumen in managing interfaces and integrations within the SAP landscape, with experience working with middleware solutions such as SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
• Experience in defining and implementing technical specifications in collaboration with external SAP partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.
• Knowledge of SAP licensing models and budget planning processes to effectively manage resources and investments in the SAP-ECO system.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and engagement across cross-functional teams.
• SAP certifications, particularly in SAP S/4HANA implementation and technology areas, such as: –
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/4HANA Implementation Scenarios for Architects
• Change Management Certification (advantage but not mandatory)

Languages:

• German and English – fluent (written and spoken)
