For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Scientist Algorithm Support

Background:

Our team is part of the chapter Documentation & Tools Management which enables R&D to accelerate product delivery by providing internal tool management, product documentation services, training and audit support, and driving internal digitization initiatives.
You will become part of a team which connects our diagnostics R&D through a common foundational toolset. By taking on the central ownership of internal software tools and services we are pushing harmonization, simplification, effectiveness and compliance. By sharing our expert tool knowledge, bringing power users together and introducing changes to the business, all team members aim to be a catalyst for digitalization going into the future.
Our global team is based in Spain, Switzerland and the USA. You have the ability to collaborate, contribute, learn from a broad spectrum of software projects using a wide range of technologies and make a difference in the way Roche Diagnostics products are delivered.
Your focus will be the algorithm support in collaboration with the Colibri software (data display and analysis tool) to support our internal customers within R&D.
We are looking for a motivated person to support algorithm assessment combined with Colibri support role.
The perfect candidate:
The perfect candidate is an enthusiastic team player with good communication and collaboration skills. Solution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style. We are looking for someone with 3+ years knowledge in hands-on PCR-methodology.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage algorithm transfer process for several Lifecycle Teams
  * Interface with other departments, such as System Integration and Software Development, in order to implement result calling algorithm
  * Align with other Roche Molecular Diagnostics locations on their algorithm parameter optimization activities
  * Coordination of Stakeholder meetings – Algo Board Meeting
  * Coordination of the Colibri PowerUser team Rotkreuz
  * Perform user acceptance testing and communicate new releases of Colibri
  * Training coordination for Colibri tool training
  * First point of contact for user feedback and troubleshooting

Must Haves:

• Degree in a life science discipline, technical schooling or equivalent
  *3+ years knowledge in PCR-methodology or technical background combined with problem solving skills and a „will-do“ attitude
  *Ability to work independently, handling cross-departmental tasks
  *Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and German
  *Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking

Nice to have:

• Colibri software experience
