Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) – Zürich, 100%

Project:

Our client in the Financial Services sector is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) with a passion for static/reference data and an interest in financial markets. The project focuses on the automation of USD Agency MBS from the three main US agencies: Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Tasks:

• Get a good understanding of the reference data integration standards used by the client as well as the data made available by the suppliers
• Analyze and review the static/reference data, specialized in the fixed income area, made available by the client’s suppliers
• Work closely with IT (requirement engineers and developers), defining the business requirements to map and automate the onboarding of the data in the client’s system
• Work with the Business Analysts from the processing team in charge of the necessary software adjustment to deliver the newly onboarded data to the client’s customers
• Document the enhancements according to the templates used at BFI and ensure a proper hand-over to another internal Business Analyst once in production to make sure that the maintenance can be smoothly taken over

Requirements:

• University qualification or similar academic degree
• More than 7 years‘ experience in the financial sector
• Deep knowledge and more than 7 years‘ experience in the Fixed Income area
• Strong Co-ordination, problem solving and organizational skills
• Dedicated team player
• Ability to work in an agile, dynamic and international environment

Languages:

• English – Fluent (Excellent Spoken and Written)
• German – Fluent (Excellent Spoken and Written)
