Senior Java Developer – Java 8/ Maven/Git/Jenkins (m,f,d) – 100% in Zurich

Role/Project:

For a leading customer within the financial services sector, we are urgently looking for a passionate Software Engineer, who thoroughly enjoys coding but can also contribute with requirements engineering, solution design, testing, etc.

Tasks and Deliverables:

• Implementation of analytical activities and all operations pertaining to software engineering
• Creating models according to data, functions and / or objects
• Designing components and defining interfaces
• Designing and Implementing new applications
• Arranging and maintaining application development and test environment
• Creating and updating documentations
• Creating or choosing appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development

Requirements:

• University of Applied Sciences or related education
• Good knowledge of technologies used and in-depth knowledge of software Engineering
• Very good experience with Java 8, Maven, Git, Jenkins
• Min 4 years of working with Docker/Podman, Linux, ElasticSearch and Microsoft NoSQL Database / NewSQL (Key value store)
• Min 1 year experience working with Openshift / Zookeper, Kafka
• Hands on experience of Test automation

Languages:

• English – Business Fluent
• German – Nice to have
