For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Software Administrator in Research (m/f/d).

Background:
The Central Lab Supply & team supports the entire laboratory staff at the Basel site with the central procurement of hazardous substances such as laboratory chemicals, solvents, but also consumables such as laboratory glass, cleaning agents and office supplies. The items are made available to customers in several warehouses according to the „supermarket without checkout“ principle and are managed and reordered by us. In our „Kardex“ facility we have approximately 50,000 pieces of used chemical containers stored, which the researchers in the laboratory search for, reserve, borrow and then reuse after use can be returned. In this way, we contribute to the sustainable use of resources and help to increase safety in the laboratories through secure, central storage.

The perfect candidate has completed their vocational training and gained more than 5 years of hands-on experience. The candidate is familiar with working in project teams, skilled in IT, and possesses very good English skills, as well as good German skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Superuser of the Jaggaer® „Research Material Manager“ Program
* Deputy of the Process Owners Jaggaer® & Research Material Manager & program
* Provide first- and second-level user support for scientists
* Troubleshooting for RMM related issues in all database environments
* Participation in various (software) related projects
* Responsible for master data management in RMM
* Compliance with the specified process flows
* Compliance with all applicable SHE regulations
* Recording and reporting of consumption in B92 / Site Basel
* Customer advice at the counter
* Group compliance with Roche values
* Compliance with all SHE-relevant regulations / laws within the department
* Compliance with narcotics legislation in the area of pRED
* Communication with the safety, health and environmental protection department

Must Haves:
* completed vocational training
* Min. 5 years professional experience
* experience working in project teams
* Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, good knowledge of spoken and written German (*****) * Very good IT skills (G-Suite, MS-Office…)
* Interest in software support from the user side
* Quick understanding of processes in a complex software landscape
* Solution-oriented, independent way of working * Ability to proactively find solutions
* Motivation to communicate interactively in multinational teams and projects
* Customer focus, ability to work in a team, honesty, sense of responsibility, reliability

Nice to Haves:
* Scientific background/training
* Experience in a research laboratory is an advantage
