Software Engineer Java/Cloud/Integration Applications

Role/Project: For our client in the financial services sector we are looking for a Java Software
Engineer that comes with experience in SW development, requirements engineering and solution design. The person would be joining a multicultural Software Development Team which is positioned under „Communication Platform Engineering“ in the Post Trading area. The Team goal is to offer technological products of high quality in the areas of communication, messaging and security to their customers.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions for the connection und integration external communication interfaces
• Renew, further develop and maintain the applications
• Create and maintain technical documents
• Contribute to the implementation of DevOps concepts such as automation

You have the following skills and experiences:

• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant area
• Around 4-6 years of recent experience in Java development and up-to-date skills
• Experience with Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot: must have / Spring Integration: nice to have)
• You have a basic understanding of Docker
• Ideally you have cloud experience (with OpenShift), alternatively Kubernetes
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with Oracle database
• You have Linux and MQ user experience (ideally IBM MQ)
• A huge plus if you have worked with SWIFT messaging, ISO20022 before
• Business-fluent English, German nice to have
