Software Solution Engineer -Automation (m,f,d) -Job Scheduling/UC4/Java, 80-100%

Role: For our client a leading Global bank we are looking for an experienced Software Solution Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Software Solution Engineer to join an esteemed Job Scheduling development team.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in automation, governance, and possess a strong background in software development.

Areas of responsibility:

• Develop and implement automation strategies for job scheduling to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Drive best practices in governance to ensure standardization and compliance across all projects
• Collaborate closely with the development team to streamline job development processes
• Work with stakeholders to understand and address automation requirements
• Apply your expertise in API programming, integration, and design (REST, Java, JSON, YAML)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software design patterns and architecture

Professional Requirements:

• Proven experience of several years in software development
• Proficiency in relevant software development languages and tools for Automatic Automation (Java, JavaScript, Python)
• Good understanding of common infrastructure and software architecture.
• Solid experience with Automic Automation (UC4) with a distinct focus on automation and governance
• Familiarity with job scheduling concepts (Automic Automation, Host Scheduling – OPC/TWS)
• Proven experiences in API programming, integration, and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Languages:

• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
• Fluent German (spoken and written)
