Solution Engineer

Solution Engineer – SQL / Oracle / ETL PowerCenter

Role:

For our client in the Banking sector based in Zurich we are looking for an experienced Solution Engineer.

Areas of responsibility:

• Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
• Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on SAP BO / Oracle / Informatica Powercenter
• Design, develop, test, and document new / changes to integration and reporting applications
• Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
• Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI)
• Perform 2nd & 3rd level support for applications under responsibility

Professional and technical requirements:

• Higher Education (e.g. „Fachhochschule“,“Wirtschaftsinformatik“)
• Experience in banking or financial industry
• Good experience with reporting tool Business Objects by SAP
• Hands on experience with Tableau
• Expert SQL skills, preferably in large enterprise environments
• Very good experience in integration and reporting applications
• Good experience in meta-data driven applications and generic data models
• Very good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica
• Very good experience with Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
• 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture / Data Engineering
• Strong communications skills and able to communicate at Senior Management level with Great Stakeholders Management
• Good organizational skills
