Subject Matter Expert /Managed file transfer technologies

Role: For our client within the Financial Services sector we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert. You will join a team responsible for operations & continuous improvement of infrastructure solutions in the field of monitoring and managed file transfer technologies

Areas of responsibility:

• Responsible for engineering of custom solutions for the banks internal customers, by using various script languages & CLI interfaces
• Support automation of processes in order to create additional value for internal customers
• Performing lifecycle tasks and hands-on software configuration
• Providing 7x24h pikett service for system management infrastructure
• Answering of general inquires (SPOC-Single Point of Contact)

Professional Requirements:

• Education BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Experience in Monitoring (IBM Tivoli /Omnibus) and File Transfer engineering and operations
• High expertise in Windows/Linux operating systems and Oracle databases
• Scripting language skills like Windows Powershell, Bash and Perl
• Knowledge about cloud- and container technologies
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Quick and analytical thinking with a Structured approach and organizational talent
• Available to be on call 6-7 times per calendar year

Languages:

• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
• Fluent German Min.C1 (spoken and written)
