For our customer Roche Diagnostics Int Ltd in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly Systems Engineer for Point of Care Solution

Background

As part of the Solution Development & Integration organization we support Core Lab, Point of Care, and Molecular Lab solution related development projects that underlie a high level of interoperability between analyzers, workflow products and IT. We translate customer and business needs into high-level solution requirements, architecture, and technically feasible design concepts, and based on a combined understanding of customer workflows and technical solutions, we apply systems engineering principles ensuring interoperability of our products.

With the most complete portfolio in the market, we offer the best customized solution for every lab (low-, mid- and high-volume laboratories). We provide innovative solutions supporting diagnostic laboratories to optimize their workflow / intra-logistic processes, which results in an improvement in testing efficiency, service to clinicians and provided patient care.
For definition and design activities for our Point of Care Solution we are looking for a Systems Engineer.

Tasks & Responsibilities
* Requirements engineering within complex projects.
* Create a shared cross-functional understanding of needs and rationales behind requirements in close collaboration with business functions.
* Support the product scoping process and provide clarity of required features and functions to the respective stakeholders.
* Support analysis, assessment and design among architects of involved products to solve portfolio-level design challenges.
* Support finding technical solutions creating customer value.
* Play your part in fostering a good „solution culture“ where people from different organizations work happily together.

Must Haves:
* University degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences or Engineering
* At least 3 years of working experience as systems engineer
* Experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g. MedTec, aerospace, automotive)
* Business analysis experience
* Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
* Analytical thinking with ability to see the big picture as well as the details.
* Curious to understand complex structures and behaviors.
* Good communication skills, patience and tenacity.
* Ability to lead, follow-up and work well in multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in the diagnostics industry is an advantage.
* Fluent in English written and spoken (advanced level or similar), German is an advantage.
