For our client Roche based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Systems Engineer for Solution Definition and Design (f/m/d)

Background:

As part of the Solution Development & Integration organization we support Core Lab, Point of Care, and Molecular Lab solution related development projects that underlie a high level of interoperability between analyzers, workflow products and IT. We translate customer and business needs into high-level solution requirements, architecture, and technically feasible design concepts, and based on a combined understanding of customer workflows and technical solutions, we apply systems engineering principles ensuring interoperability of our products.
With the most complete portfolio in the market, we offer the best customized solution for every lab (low-, mid- and high-volume laboratories). We provide innovative solutions supporting diagnostic laboratories to optimize their workflow / intra-logistic processes, which results in an improvement in testing efficiency, service to clinicians and provided patient care. For our solution definition and design activities we are looking for a Systems Engineer for ccm (cobas® connection modules) lab automation definition, integration and testing.

Tasks & Responsibilities
* Requirements engineering (elicitation, analysis, elaboration, validation) within complex lab automation projects
* Executing and documenting integration and test activities
* Identification and definition of external and internal interfaces
* Support finding technical solutions creating customer value
* Play your part in fostering a good „solution culture“ where people from different organizations work happily together

Must Haves:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
* At least 3 years of professional experience as systems engineer
* Experience and a proven track record in a regulated environment (e.g. MedTec, aerospace, automotive)
* Hands-on mentality and a desire to integrate and test on-site in our lab
* Analytical thinking with ability to see the big picture as well as the details
* Curious to understand complex structures and behaviors
* Good communication skills, patience and tenacity
* Ability to lead, follow-up and work well in multidisciplinary teams
* Experience in the diagnostics industry is an advantage
* Fluent in English written and spoken (advanced level or similar), German is an advantage
