Vulnerability management and Cloud Security (m,w) – 100%, ZH

Project: For our client within the Insurance sector we are looking for an experienced consultant in the area of Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security.

You will take charge of ensuring the security and resilience of our clients infrastructure and play a crucial role in scanning and reporting vulnerabilities, managing stakeholders, and optimizing processes to enhance their vulnerability management practices.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all infrastructure components are scanned for vulnerabilities
• All vulnerabilities must be reported within central tool – Pitagora
• Assess and assign open vulnerabilities to corresponding owners
• Track the vulnerabilities to ensure they are fixed within defined timeframes
• Identify gaps in the vulnerability mgmt. processes and lead improvements and initiatives
• Optimise processes where possible
• Mange relevant Stakeholders
• Work on the automating security monitoring and relevant procedures,
• Manage relevant documentation
• Review shadow IT topic for the cloud services,
• Build an automated process for monitoring shadow it and cloud security using Netskope,
• Assess and prioritize shadow it and cloud related issues and work on fixing or mitigating them

Requirements:

• Knowledge of NIST and Qualys security frameworks and standards
• Understanding of Cloud and Datacenter based infrastructures
• Understanding of different OS and application architectures to be able to evaluate dependencies and scope/prioritize vulnerabilities,
• Good knowledge of general Cybersecurity principles and ability to apply them
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Excellent communication skills
