Role: Our client offers great value insurance and genuine customer service for Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Business Insurance, Farm Insurance, Travel Insurance. They also arrange Life Assurance, Pensions and Investment products. Our client has over 50 years insurance experience

The client is looking for Business Process Engineer who play an important role in continuous improvements initiatives, driving improvement projects and process governance across our client. They will work in the Process Improvement and Customer Experience team. They will run Six Sigma DMAIC projects to support the review, design and creation of efficient, robust and compliant processes.

The role holder will work in a cross-functional team to enable key process owners and drive improvements across the business.
As the team expands potential to manage a team of process engineers.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for managing and running full DMAIC process management
-Supporting the documenting of the processes under review and work through the five Six-Sigma phases (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control).
-Supporting the identification of the ‘as is’ process & the designing of the ‘to be’ process
-Delivering long term process improvements.
-Looking at processes from a customer point view and promote the voice of the customer (internal & external).
-Validating that the business process is as efficient as possible.
-Identify value added and business value added activities and reduce non-value added activities
-Identifying and eliminate waste.
-Identifying opportunities to standardise, centralise or automate tasks where possible.
-Improving overall customer journey by making the process simple and easy to complete whether a customer or staff.
-Participating in project initiation and kick off workshops.
-Taking an active role in solution design ensuring cross system impacts are assessed.
-Assisting in the development of functional requirements to conform to the designed solution.
-Assisting the business with training strategies, planning and execution of the new processes.
-Providing innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment.
-Working with Compliance ensuring all content and functionality adheres to CPC, GDPR, IT Security & our client standards.

Requirements:
-A minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a business role/process improvement role
-Experience and understanding of insurance products are required
-High level of experience of Six Sigma and running DMAIC projects
-People management experience
-Process improvement experience (e.g., Six Sigma)
-Six Sigma or Lean qualification (Six Sigma Green Belt minimum)
-Process governance experience
-Insurance or financial industry experience
-Degree in Business, statistics, IT or similar
-Project management experience (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2)
-PMP qualification an advantage
