As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team playing a pivotal role in facilitating agile processes and ensuring effective collaboration in developing software solutions. You will enable our Molecular Lab network to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic solutions and your contributions will support the Diagnostics 10-year ambition.

The perfect candidate combines deep expertise in software development and embedded systems with 5+ years of strong React and frontend architecture experience. You bring excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide cross-functional and external teams, foster an inclusive and psychologically safe environment, and drive high-quality delivery. With a creative, analytical mindset, you solve complex challenges efficiently while remaining highly motivated to create meaningful impact for colleagues, customers, and patients.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* You work with cross-functional agile teams and stakeholders (Product Owner, System Architect, Solution Architect, System Engineers, etc.) to understand and translate complex business and customer needs into effective technical solutions and communicate these to the team and the stakeholders.
* You design and develop innovative software solutions that meet regulatory requirements as well as fulfill system quality attributes like scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, interoperability, extensibility, etc.
* You guide the team to adhere to best practices in software development and inline with the organizational strategy and practices including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration, to deliver high-quality solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
* You coordinate and oversee the technical output of external development work within an extended workbench setup, seamlessly integrating their contributions into the core team’s workflow by providing clear technical direction, conducting rigorous code reviews, and ensuring all deliverables meet our internal quality and regulatory standards.
* You act as a mentor and role model, guiding and empowering team members in technical development, promoting a collaborative working environment and contributing effectively to the team’s success.

Must Haves:
* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in the specialized field of Software Development. Engineering for embedded systems and experience in a regulated environment is a plus for succeeding in the role.
* Strong knowledge of React and frontend architecture, at least 5+ years. Experience with Electron or Tauri is a benefit. Experience on developing embedded user interfaces using Rust or C++ or similar is a benefit.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills leveraged to effectively oversee, guide, and review the work within an external, extended workforce setup, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering an inclusive and diverse environment within and across teams.
* Proven ability to solve complex issues creatively and effectively, using a multi-faceted approach based on thorough analysis to resolve complex project challenges.
* Demonstrated leadership that fosters cross-functional value delivery and to establish a psychologically safe working environment and empowers their team and holds people accountable by creating conditions for ownership.
