Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a Agile Project / Program Manager.

The Agile Project / Program Manager is a servant leader to Roche Diagnostics internal customers. The
position will help to manage and drive a large agile transformation program using the Scaled Agile
Framework (SAFe) as the leading framework -that consists of a number of smaller initiatives within Roche
Information Solutions. Hereby the position engages with stakeholders across customer areas and functions

Areas of responsibility:
● Support the leading and driving of a large agile transformation program with high complexity and
subsets of cross-functional projects / initiatives, focusing on the successful execution of the
transformation
● Applying agile methodologies, thinking and mindset to the implementation component of a
transformational set-up to drive the delivery of the implementation
● Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Scrum/agile practices and apply these to the development,
execution, and improvement of action plans
● Engage internal customers across all of Roche Information Solutions
● Establish relationships with relevant partners and stakeholders and act as trusted advisor for agile
transformation methodologies and adoption
● Define and implement metrics / key performance indicators to measure progress and success;
implement mitigations for under-performing metrics; identify, monitor, and mitigate key risks
● Monitor the deployment progress of agile ways of working, scaling and enablement
● Support the culture of continuous improvement
● Support the preparation of key communication materials (e.g. presentation decks for stakeholder
engagement sessions, sprint or increment reviews, sprint demos, etc.)

Professional and technical requirements:
● Bachelor / Master’s Degree and experience in related discipline (Computer Sciences, Engineering, etc.),
MSIS, MIS, or MBA preferred
● Excellent understanding of agile frameworks, methodologies, and ways-of-working – preferably
extensive expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); certification desired (e.g. PMI-ACP, Scrum.Org,
SAFe)
● Organizational Change Management experience (e.g. Prosci®)
● Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading programs, projects, teams (ideally as a consultant) in agile
environments with tangible outcomes; experience in taking on agile roles such as Release Train Engineer
(RTE), Product Owner, or Scrum Master
● Management consulting background
● Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative
solutions to address customer needs or to realize market opportunities
● Good communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders and customers to explain technology and
with the proven ability to take insights from customers and translate them into technical deliverables
