Back End Developer (m/f) in Financial Services

For our client in Zurich, we are currently looking for a Back End Developer (m/f) who can provide full-stack development skills within a strategic project in which new functionalities as well as enhancements features shall be introduced ton existing financial services product.

Your responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with the project’s IT team, as well as with the project solution management team on the business side
• Close collaboration with the product owner and IT (very essential)
• Participation in workshops and meetings with clients
• Variety of Back End development within the given technological stack, thereby adhering to high and innovative internal standards

Your candidate profile:

• Degree in computer science or comparable subject area
• Several years of experience in the role of Full-stack Developer with extensive hands-on expertise in Back End development
• Several years of experience in the following technological stack: Java, Spring-Boot, Spring-Integration, Hibernate, SQL, FIX, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, Maven, Git
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong independent working approach
• Ability to challenge requirements
• Exposure to financial solutions (Trading) is a plus
• Experience with FIX interfaces is beneficial
• Experience in interacting with Frontend Angular Developers
• Effective communication with Product Owner, IT and Business Analyst is a must
• Fluent and stylistically confident written and spoken English
• Language skills in German are a nice to have
