Business Analyst for Labware LIMS Interfaces – QC Lab processes, SAP, MES

Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Kaiseraugst we are looking for a Business Analyst for
Labware LIMS Interfaces.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to work for PT Informatics, the Informatics supporting Roche
Pharma Global Technical Operations. Roche is implementing a global validated LIMS solution (Labware
LIMS, labware.com/lims) in PT (Pharma Technical Ops). The Business Analyst will gather and create LIMS
Interface-related user stories and Acceptance Criterias and support the team to define the needed
interface requirements.

The perfect candidate: The ideal candidate is an experienced Business Analyst who is fluent in English
(ideally also German) and who has the understanding of Lab Processes as well as QC from the
pharmaceutical industry. It can also be a candidate who did for example a Lab Tech apprenticeship and
has gained project experience and worked as Business Analyst. The candidate must be able to carry out
the necessary work independently.

Areas of responsibility:
* Business Analysis for the LIMS related interfaces
* Elicitation and creation of solid user stories and acceptance criterias in an agile working environment
* Acting as an interface between local business (customer) functions and the global project core team
* Identify existing requirements and create new requirements
* Understanding of Business Processes and identify potential benefits, harmonize and structure them into
user stories

Professional and technical requirements:
* Min. 5-7 years of experience in an appropriately relevant area (e.g. Quality Control) working as a
Business Analyst
* Strong background in Pharma Technical Operations and QC Lab processes and understands their user
needs and is able to translate them into IT system requirements
* Experience working in a global, virtual team in a complex matrix organization
* Manufacturing (including MES) and SAP knowledge
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Analytical thinking, structured approach to identify potential benefits, harmonize and structure them
into user stories and acceptance criterias
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player but also able to work independently
* Agile mindset
* Positive thinking and open to learn and improve processes
* Cultural awareness

Nice to Haves:
* Min. Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences
* Knowledge about the application “Labware LIMS”
* Roche-internal project methodology (Scrum, Agile, SAFe)
